Responsibilities include:
• Provide technical leadership in all phases of software development projects, including
analysis, design, construction, implementation, testing, and post-implementation activities
• Lead technical design discussions with other technical leaders across multiple applications
• Collaborate and drive technical design across upstream and downstream applications
including SAP, SuccessFactors, Master Data Management, Salesforce and Global Sales
Reporting to ensure alignment across the end-to-end solution
• Determine the Data Migration technical solution with hands on technical leadership and
implementation of multiple iterations of the data migration
• Guide and collaborate with integration developers in understanding field level details and
transformation logic while engaging upstream and downstream application technical
experts
• Participate in an agile product team to prioritize and implement new application features,
while simultaneously maintaining the quality of existing features and functionality.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues and address challenges in solution
implementation• Create and maintain system documentation, including proposals, designs, test
specifications, and other deliverables as necessary
• Understand customer business implications and incorporate this understanding into
technical and process improvement recommendations
• Support or co-lead fit gap sessions with divisional SME’s to root out new requirements/use
cases, encourage standardization etc
o Lead bi-weekly cross platform design session (requires pre-work for each session to ensure
effective discussions with multiple stakeholders). Must have detailed agenda, use cases and
required stakeholders (applications) for each session. These sessions are key to success as it is
critical to get design alignment across teams as early as possible to avoid reworking the solution
later. Tech lead will assist in these sessions and provide technical guidance.
o Document designs in JIRA stories and Confluence
· Development
o Work with tech lead and developers to ensure they understand psuedo logic required for each
development effort. Tech Lead will partner and will focus on data element and code logic with
developers. Tech lead will ensure developers code is correct and assist in unit testing
· Data Migration
o Co-lead with Product Owner in sessions with Divisional SMEs to guide them through the
concepts of transforming current state into models that will better meet their divisions go-to market
strategy.
o work with data migration lead and product manager to determine data migration requirements
and mapping
o Data Migration Lead and Technical Lead will determine technology solution for data migration
and design/implement the solution as required. The will help with data mapping and perform
migration loads plus troubleshoot load errors etc.
· Testing
o support in troubleshooting issues that arise in testing
· Implementation
o Environment planning including coordination of data refreshes across up and downstream
applications
o Coordinate cutover activities across up and downstream applications and integration teams
o Create a VERY detailed cutover plan with up and down stream dependencies.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
• Strong analytical skills including proficiency in querying, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Experience with agile project management, development methodologies and tools
• Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, action-oriented environment.
